Using "-" in SB747...

Hi Jeroen,

Was wondering why I seems to be impossible to use the "-" symbol in my communications over SB747.

Problem is that many staff members on IVAO use a callsign like "IVAO-DIR" and then send you a message to see if you are actually at the PC while flying on-line. You then have to react to this message within 15 minutes. For some reason however when I type ".r message" the returned message will not show but , sma ewhen I type ".msg IVAO-DIR ..." and I'm pretty sure the person on the other side does not receive my message. Rather painfull off course since I am in fact at the PC.

Is there a work-around around this ?
