PS1EE4 Simulator exit 30

When run standalone, PS1EE4 gives this error plus runtime error 207 when I press FMC key either in PS1 or MCDU, with COMPORT.SET=0 and external data link either on or off. Same happens when I have V747 running, and this error causes V747 to abend. Any ideas?
