Please, help with MCP747 firmaware 2.2!

Hello Everyone,

I just downloaded and ran the firmaware upgrade (V 2.2) for Aerosoft's MCP, and now the MCP won't start. Everything looked OK on the installer program. One thing I didn't do is run the 'MCP747.exe' because I don't know what they are talking about. I think this is the reason why it is not comming on. My MCP has ben running flawlessly for over two years, but I don't recall the product coming with a CD? So, where is this 'MCP747.exe' that I have to run? I did select the correct COM port (in case you are wondering.)
Can anyone help me fix this issue?
Please excuse my ignorance if the solution to this problem is evident (not very good at this.)
