Hello All,
I have been reading the news articles about the German Pope's visit to Auschwitz. While this visit is very laudable and necessary, one wonders why the Pope does not have the moral courage to visit Saratov where 95000 young German boys were starved and clubbed to death, or to Hamburg where 75000 German women & children were doused with burning phosphorous, or to the villages of Mei Lei and Habitha where the inhabitants are taught the wonderful virtues of freedom & democracy. If our leaders are such men of straw, what hope is there for the rest of us?
Regards,
JIM
PS Jeroen if you feel this post is too erudite for your readers, please feel free to delete it. I wont be upset.
