Joerg Loehnig (EDDF)

Jörg sadly passed away in November 2006, leaving us with a large gap in our lives. We decided to keep this profile unedited except for this message.

Aquarius, born last century '65 in Hamm/Westf., Germany.

Actually, living in the EDDF area in the city of Moerfelden-Walldorf.

More than 11 years I was working as a medical engineer for Olympus, responsible for customer field service and later for an image capturing software product called ENDOBASE III.

In late 2002 I started a career at the Lufthansa Flight Training Center in Frankfurt/Main (EDDF) as a flight simulator maintenance engineer for the Boeing Full Flight Simulator fleet.

My flightsim career began on sublogic's Airline Transport Pilot ATP software, and later I became a Precision Simulator fan from it's first day of publication, or even before (when I saw the first screenshots).

Once met Mel Ott at his hangar at Merritt Island FL, USA in 1999, and also a lot of other PS-1 pilots at the Hamburg PS-1 meeting, during the FlightSim days at Schiphol in 2001 and at the GPPM3 meeting in Berlin 2002. Joined World Flight Australia in 2003, met really friendly guys down under and had my hands on Matt's great simulator.

Running the PS1 dedicated website glideslope.de together with my colleagues and good friends Timo, Markus and Tom.
